Maintaining my physical fitness is top priority…My experience has taught me that aquatic exercise is the most efficient form of the ritual obtainable . The combination of the natural properties of resistance and buoyancy provide for a thorough workout. Here I am practicing my aquatic bb skills at the Newton YMCA!
Although aquatic exercise does fit the bill to keep me physically fit, and It does give me the buoyancy I need that allows full range of motion while the resistive quality of water generates all the power of a jog around the block. But it’s not always an option to access the pool. So daily I can be found hitting the road with my dog Starla on my Sun trike. Like the song says, “I don’t go to fast but I go pretty far.” I’m never in a hurry to get there, but with twenty-one speeds to choose from, there’s always a gear to fit my pace. Speed is not a priority on my journeys.
